Local tastemakers will bring the community together for the first large-scale
live-music gathering in the newly renovated Los Angeles State Historic Park
Radio Hill – a collective of Los Angeles-based concert producers, festival planners, and talent curators – announced a comprehensive list of local art, food, and craft beer offerings that will be available at the inaugural event on Saturday, May 20, 2017. Los Angeles State Historic Park will open its newly built gates to a sprawl of freshly laid grass, shady trees, and cool blue waters for the vibrant community of Chinatown to enjoy. Skyline will showcase influential acts Miike Snow, Duke Dumont, Lido, Eden, Michl, Elohim and Jason Bentley across the 64-foot long stage, set to the backdrop of Downtown LA at dusk. Tickets to the first major music event at the park are available, here.
For the food enthusiasts, Skyline will be serving bites that satisfy every taste. Scoop up a classic milky bun from After’s Ice Cream and wash it down with cold brew and espresso from Menotti’s Coffee. Still hungry? Try the lobster mac & cheese from Westcoast, a vegan burger at The Green Truck, dumplings from Little Fatty, or citrus carnitas tacos from BBC Taco. Don’t forget to hydrate with fresh young coconuts from Colima. Once you’ve had a snack, head over to one of the four craft beer bars to sample selections from Golden Road, Angel City, Coronado Islander, Cismontane Citizen, and Ballast Point. From IPA’s to Hefeweizens, Skyline has everything on tap.
Placed throughout the park, local artists will showcase live pieces from their creative collections for attendees to observe and interact with. Curators like HYBYCOZO, Brian Fox, and Master of Shapes, will have innovative works on display. Take time between sets to appreciate all of the beauty that Skyline has to offer by planning your Saturday schedule with the performance times below.
