This April, the beautiful Mediterranean island of Malta is set to welcome a new festival to the European scene. Annie Mac, Radio 1’s discerning femme fatale and resident queen of dance music, presents Lost & Found – a festival that will showcase a selection of today’s top and up-and-coming DJ talent.
Notable acts that have been confirmed for the 3-day party, from April 3-5th, includes chart-topper Duke Dumont, Canadian hip hop wonder Kaytranada, Hot Natured’s Jamie Jones, legendary reggae master David Rodigan MBE, and of course the boss-lady herself, Annie Mac. More acts are being added by the day, so stay tuned for a full list of up-to-date confirmed artists on their site.
Though Lost & Found’s locale say seem curious to some, Malta presents itself as a high-end yet affordable alternative to the now saturated Mediterranean music scene of Ibiza. Perspective festival attendees will be happy to hear that flights to the exotic island are relatively low-cost and venues will be easy to reach via bus and taxi. Combine that with the fact that hotels are extremely reasonable – around £15 a night per person (Book your travel now, conveniently through our travel booking agent, in partnership with Priceline.com). Featuring a total of 8 core venues, there will be beach and boat parties from sunup to sundown.
A mixture of battle-tested promoters from the UK and Malta worked to pull together Annie Mac Presents Lost & Found Festival for this fresh new festival, including The Warehouse Project, Sound Channel, Drop the Mustard, Metropolis, Fresh Events,Lights Out and Annie Mac herself.
General admission tickets went live earlier this week here – earlybird tickets come in a £69 and second release will run you £89. We can’t wait to see you there!
