Do LaB Unveils Woogie Weekend Teaser Video
and Spotlight on Top International Acts
Do LaB just released a new teaser video for its inaugural house and techno-focused camping festival, Woogie Weekend, taking place July 17 to July 19, 2015 at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, CA. The video showcases shots of the vibrant, prismatic Woogie Stage from Do LaB’s Lightning in a Bottle, soundtracked by music from festival performers Gigamesh and French Express’ Jonas Rathsman. Do LaB’s carefully curated lineup is also highlighted in a roundup of the Top 7 International Artists playing at the festival.
Although the Woogie is best known as the house and techno-centric stage at Lightning in a Bottle, the stage’s sound and vibe are inclusive of dance music’s diverse plethora of sounds. From disco to tropical grooves and progressive, the stage is beloved for its stellar roster of local and international talent. This year the magic and good vibes of the festival blossom as the Woogie concept comes full force with its own inaugural festival, Woogie Weekend. Taking the opportunity to source some of the most well-respected and innovative acts from around the globe, Woogie Weekend will feature all your favorite acts for a rare and intimate festival soiree.
Alongside local legends, the Woogie Weekend includes many global pioneers in the dance music community, including Swede Jonas Rathsman, the UK’s Nick Warren, Berlin-based Camea, Berghain resident Marcel Fengler, Moscow’s Gorje Hewek & Izhevski, the UK’s Just Be (Bushwacka!), and Spain’s Pig & Dan. Together this crew of electronic renegades bring a wealth of sonic styles, including everything from house and techno, to progressive, experimental, ambient and many more.
