Sail across the Sun Poster

Join San Francisco-based, Grammy-winning platinum recording artists and wine enthusiasts Train, and Sixthman, the industry leader of festivals at sea, for Sail Across the Sun, cruising from Miami, Florida to Ocho Rios, Jamaica aboard Norwegian Pearl February 11th – 15th, 2016. The event, in its third year after two sold out cruises, features live music from Train and other groundbreaking artists in addition to decadent wine tastings and interactive activities throughout the voyage, including the return of the popular singles party on Valentine’s Day, a highlight of the inaugural Sail Across the Sun cruise.

This year, guests can look forward to three pool deck shows from Train, including a special acoustic set, and a tantalizing mix of SATS artist alumni and brand-new-to-the-cruise voices for guests to enjoy.  Michael Franti from SATS 2014 and Andy Grammer from SATS 2015 will be returning, and newcomer Phillip Phillips will join the Sail Across the Sun family.  In addition to great music, guests can look forward to participating in an array of onboard activities such as creative drinking games, contests, and festive theme nights – many hosted or attended by the event’s artists.

Norwegian Pearl will travel to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, which offers a plethora of activities for travelers of all walks. Guests can stroll along tropical beaches, explore local cuisine, shop for one-of-a-kind souvenirs, or choose from a host of exciting excursions offered onboard. A destination of her own, Norwegian Pearl offers access to 13 bars and lounges, 19 dining experiences, one outdoor pool, hot tubs, and a lengthy menu of spa treatments. Guests will have access to other entertainment on the ship as well:  Whether it’s a game of soccer or basketball on the sport court, bowling a few frames at the onboard lanes, or tempting lady luck with a few hands at The Pearl Club Casino, Norwegian Pearl has you covered.
